Handmade Korra Inspired Messenger Bag by Baconette Handmade Korra Inspired Messenger Bag by Baconette
So I got bored and made a thing. I had some scraps leftover from a Raven cosplay and some other projects.

The whole thing is a little larger than a standard notebook.

The emblem from her parka is hand embroidered. There is a pencil pocket and a cell phone pouch on the inside front. On the interior of the bag its the light blue satin (like her shirt) and has the main section along with two "tablet" sized pockets. The white fur is fake (Note: when cutting fur, only cut the backing, like carpet. If you cut the actual fur fibers THEY WILL GET EVERYWHERE)

by tablet i mean my Nexus 7 first gen. and by Cell phone i mean my Samsung Galaxy S3.

it has no zipper because I didn't have one that fit it laying around and once i finished I though it looked fine without it.

I may be persuaded to make a copy, or design a bag from a different character/ show. Comment if you have questions ideas for are interested in a bag and I'll see what I can do. (I do have a heavy class/work load this upcoming semester)

This is great! It captures Korra's water bender look perfectly! I love it! But shouldn't the charm in the front be a water tribe insignia? Other than that, there is nothing else that I would change. I would take this bag with me every where I go. The best part about it is that it's not girly. That captures Korra's tomboy personality beautifully. And the fact that it's a messenger bag would contribute to the comfort factor of the bag greatly. This is a bag that all female Avatar fans and non-Avatar fans alike will love and wear. Great job! :)

The bag is 11" x 14" and is 2.5" wide. The strap hangs about 27" (holding the bag up in the middle of the strap and measuring it)
